We are nearing the 2 month mark for the wedding. I cannot believe that it is almost here! We had the opportunity to go to a cake tasting and have been working to finalize some details. With a few wedding events between now and then, I am sure the time will fly by.
If any guests need a hotel, there is a block of rooms at the Springhill Inn and Suites under the Collins-Wood Wedding.
Adam and I are excited for the opportunity to celebrate with our friends and family!
Luckily, as I am working on the fabric flowers for the wedding, I have had lots of help. Adam's mom, his Aunt Patty, and my mom came over to help cut-out and assemble fabric flowers.
Ginny was there to help too, but she got over-worked and had to take a nap. ;)
How could I forget our biggest project of the summer?!?! Our garden! Here we are by some of the sunflowers. *Also, the name of the hotel on the previous post is a hyperlink that will take you to the hotel site which has a phone number if you need it.
Big News! Adam will be working at Washington Wilkes Comprehensive High School as an Agriculture teacher in the fall. We are so excited for him!
If you need a hotel room, there is a block of rooms reserved at Springhill Inn and Suites. You may book a room online; just let me know and I can get you the group code. Otherwise, you can call and ask for a room under the Collins-Wood wedding block to reserve your room.
We have spent a lot of the summer getting things ready because we will both be busy when school starts. We have the outfits planned for the best man, Matthew and the Maid of Honor, Ruth. We completed our registeries at Tena's, Macy's and Bed, Bath and Beyond. School will be here before we know it and our leisure time will be drastically cut! We have certainly had a blessed and wonderful engagement time and we are looking forward to the winter season and our wedding.
The reception will be at Trumps on South Millege. We are excited about planning the details and we look forward to sharing the day with our friends and family.
